1:1 Pilates

  • Sessions are ran in your garden, nearby park or via Zoom.
    This shall be agreed at the time of booking.
  • All session dates and times shall be confirmed at the time of booking.
  • Payment shall be taken at the time of booking via bank transfer.
  • You may be asked to purchase your own mat
  • Adaptations will be made based on your ability level

The Pilates Instructor will use their skills and knowledge to design a safe programme of exercise that will take into account the personal goals, fitness levels and exercise likes and dislikes.

  • The Pilates Instructor will provide the coaching, supervision advice and support that the client may need to help them achieve their goals. The client’s progress will be regularly monitored and the sessions revised and adjusted accordingly.
  • All client information will be kept strictly private and confidential.
  • It is understood between client and Pilates Instructor that both will commit to the programme and give 100% effort.
  • The client is required to wear appropriate clothing. Clothes should be loose fitting and non-restrictive. No footwear required for Pilates.

Terms and Conditions Health Screening

  • All clients must read through the health screening questions before commencing any exercise programme.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that you are well enough to participate in sessions and that you seek medical advice if required.
  • Your trainer may require a letter of ‘medical clearance’ from your GP. Please be aware that your GP may charge you for this.
  • Over 18s only.
  • Suitable for pre and post natal clients.

Cancellation Policy

  • 24 hour’s notice of cancellation is required for all sessions via text or email. Your session will then be rearranged.
  • Notice of less than 24 hour’s notice will incur full payment of the session fee and your session will NOT be rearranged.

Lateness Policy

  • If the client is late for a session the session will not be extended and will end at the appointed time.
  • If the Pilates Instructor is late, additional time will be added to the session or to subsequent sessions.

Fee Charging Policy

  • Sessions are ran in blocks of 4 weeks. You can book as many as you like
  • Payment is due to secure your sessions
  • Block bookings must be paid for in advance. 
  • All monies paid are non-refundable.
  • Sessions must be taken within 90 days of the purchase date. Following that time, any unused sessions will not be refunded. 

I recognise and understand all the terms and conditions set between my personal trainer and myself and agree to follow all the guidelines set out above.

HEALTH SCREENING

The below questions are to determine whether you are safe to exercise based on your health history, current symptoms and risk factors.

  1. Has your Doctor (Dr) ever said that you have a heart condition and that you should only do physical activity recommended by a Dr?
  2. Do you feel pain in your chest when you do physical activity?
  3. In the past month, have you had chest pain when you were not doing activity?
  4. Do you lose your balance because of dizziness or do you ever lose consciousness?
  5. Do you have a bone or joint problem that could be made worse by a change in your physical activity?
  6. Is your Dr currently prescribing drugs for your blood pressure or heart condition?
  7. Are you pregnant or have you given birth in the last 6 months?
  8. Do you know of any other reason why you should not do physical activity?

If you have answered yes, to any of the questions, have been inactive for some time or are concerned about your health, please consult your GP.

Classes are not suitable for pre and post natal clients.
